Do I need internet to use FoxBat.Pro?
Yes! FoxBat.Pro is designed to work 100% offline, but to get started you will need the internet. Once you have the app installed, you can go into airplane mode and still have full functionality, it will save all your info on the map to a local cache at the moment it detects no internet signal including search and routing.
What devices does it support?
FoxBat.Pro works on any device with a modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). You can install it as an app on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux.
How do I get started?
Just visit the website on your device and sign in for the first time, after that it will auto log you in whenever you use the app. It will install as a PWA (Progressive Web App) to your home screen.If you hit the download icon it will put a clickable icon on your home screen.

Where does the campsite data come from?
We aggregate data from multiple open-source databases including USFS, BLM, and user-submitted locations.Added location cards can be edited and reviewed by any user. You can add a review and pictures for all RV and camping spots, this includes resource cards from restaurant to toilets.
Can I save my own spots?
Yes. You can drop location markers by right clicking on a map spot and create any kind of location card from RV park to drinking fountain.This will create that spot as an actual location card for anyone to add to.
How much space do maps take?
It takes up memory cache in your browser, to most people this is negligible, for low signal this might cause a slow map load. offline info usually 10mb, it could take more if say you had all the searches including resourse searches covering a continent(about 300mb, ask me how I know), it could be 100's of mb's.This is a live active map covering the entire world, you do not need to download any map info. It will save your info if you tell it to or it will save it when there is an interuption in your cell signal.
